Our Story

Have you ever asked yourself where your Sleepy interest came from? How you got interested in it in the first place? We have and so we decided to ask some of you, in order to see if we have had similar experiences...

Most everyone that we have discussed this with points back to some childhood memory as their Sleepy origin. Many of us played games in the neighborhood, where the girls became our favorite damsels in distress. It seems the girls pretended to be sick, dead, unconscious, shot....... the list seems to be endless. Our favorite D.I.D. always needed the hero to show up in the final reel - at the last moment - to save them!
 

As kids, we were able to hold the girls in a way that we wouldn't even have admitted to liking if we were asked... AND even carry them! Of course, later on, some of this developed sexual overtones that it didn't have in the beginning. We heard from you about your favorite Sleepy girls, the ones you fell in love with, dreamed about... How they looked so innocent when they were pretending... vulnerable... WOW! Many of you told us that the girls of your dreams enjoyed the games as much as you did...! Lucky you!

Times were different in the 1950's and 1960's... Roles were different for men and women - especially in entertainment. It might be a great improvement to have today's actresses kicking butt and taking names, BUT, many of us long to see a great Monster story, where the fainted heroine is carried off... Dressed in a silk nightgown, bare feet and all! Being all "floppy" as she is carried!
 

Most of us are here to enjoy some things that are not in mainstream entertainment... Yeah corny, schlock to be sure... so what! We think your stories are so great, that we are going to post some of them! So you can share in the knowing that we all truly belong here and have a common bond. Besides, they are great reading! Please send us yours!
